I am having the Orange icon, with the #2002 error.

I had a crash on Sunday evening, which seems to show up in Sunday's Apache log:
[core:warn] [pid 8688:tid 464] AH00098: pid file C:/wamp/bin/apache/apache2.4.9/logs/httpd.pid overwritten -- Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run?

When I looked at PHP, got this message "Unable to find a MySQL log file"

For PHP, I have this error:
[18-Aug-2015 06:27:00 UTC] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'c:/wamp/bin/php/php5.5.12/ext/php_ldap.dll' - The specified module could not be found.

in Unknown on line 0

Though, this error started on August 14.

(Windows 8.1 64bit) (Wampserver 2.5 does not indicate 32 or 64)
<Apache 2.4.9(win64)>
<PHP 5.5.12>
<MySQL 5.6.17>
<phpMyAdmin ** cannot access due to error ** >
WAMP server is ORANGE

Hello,

This would seem to me to be a MYSQL Database crash that MYSQL cannot recover from without help.

Please see Checks to be made if you have a problem Read the whole document, but Specifically POINT 21

I do have a backup. Should I uninstall WAMP and do a new install? Would that be the most thorough way to get everything back in order? Thanks, Wayne

No if its just a database corruption, restore the database backup and you should be good to go.

Not sure exactly why this shoudl happen, but consider exiting WAMPServer before you reboot as that may just possibly be the reason for the corruption.
