WampServer

Hi,

I have installed wampserver for the first time in my windows 7 system. The wamp server symbol is 'orange' and is not going into 'green' color. I tried to start / restart the services. I 'put' the server online. Nothing worked.

I checked if the 'port 80' is used by any other service through CMD > netstat - aop and there is no item using port '80' (0:0:0:80).

I have also tested the service through wamp > Apahce > service > test port 80 and it returns the message 'Your port 80 is not actually used'.

I have McAfee Antivirus program running on my system. I tried 'disabling' the mcafee firewall also.

Can someone please help me to turn the 'wamp' to 'green' color.

Installing the latest version VC++ solved the issue.
