Strange code showing up when trying to set up Joomla website.

Ok, so I've been trying to set up a Joomla site using Wamp 2.2. I've noticed that my site folder shows up under 'My Projects' before I've even had the chance to make a database yet. It points back to the local folder on my computer.

Also this strange code shows up when I try to set up my site:

Strict standards: Non-static method JLoader::import() should not be called statically in C:\Program Files\wampp\www\Playing puppies\libraries\joomla\import.php on line 29

It keeps repeating that same line, but the line number keeps changing.

Does this mean I have it pointed to the wrong directory? I scroll down to the bottom and in between all the strange code is the instructions on how to set up my joomla site.

If anyone has any idea how to fix this or has seen this, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Thanks in advance,

Mancha

it means joomla doesnt support your php version.

youll need to change your php and apache versions by downloading the wamp addons and selecting them on the menu.

Projects are just folders in the www folder.
