Should wamp send you email after running PHP script.?

Hi All. I have wamp installed on my computer. When I test a html contact form and a php script it all runs fine.

The only problem is, the answers to the contact form questions are not emailed to me.

My question is, should the answers be passed on to the email address specified in the php script or is that beyond the scope of wamp.?

Thanks, Adrian.

Hi Adrian

Windows does not have an Email server by default. You either have to install one for yourself or use something like phpMailer

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Windows 10 Pro 64bit) (Wampserver 3.3.4 64bit) Aestan Tray Menu 3.2.5.4
<Apache versions MULTIPE> <PHP versions MULTIPLE> <MySQL Versions MULTIPLE>
<MariaDB versions MULTIPLE> <phpMyAdmin versions MULTIPLE> <MySQL Workbench 8.0.23>

Read The Manuals Apache -- MySQL -- PHP -- phpMyAdmin
Get your Apache/MySQL/mariaDB/PHP ADDONs here from the WAMPServer alternate Repo
-X-X-X- Backup your databases regularly Here is How dont regret it later! Yes even when developing -X-X-X-
