Error 404 localhost not found

I am new a user of Wampserver and the installation seemed to have been properly done. However each time I run , I get the following errors "Error 404 localhost not found". I had read a number of earlier inputs made by members and tried applying them but still no solution yet. I ran netstat after i had a lot of challenges with Fport and was able to identify that the processes using port 80 with PID 4 is the System (Kernel) of which I found risky to tamper with.
Kindly avail me with further options on what to do. My laptop runs on Windows 7.

You need to stop what ever is using port 80.

grab teamviewer and ill take a look for you if you like...

ill be here for another 15mins , otherwise i can do it tomor evening
