WampServer

I need PHP 5.2.x to work with a particular site, so I downloaded the add-on from the main page. My main PHP 5.3 is working perfectly, but when I select version 5.2.9, it goes orange and never goes green. And while it says 'server online' when I hover over the WAMP icon in my systray, localhost remains unreachable.

Any suggestions of what to do to make it work?

the addons are vc6 and dont work with vc9 components as also clearly written on the download page


please downlaod an apache addon too and use them together for it to work

Ah thank you! (although vc6/vc9 aren't mentioned on the addon download page specifically I do see the compatability info I'd overlooked)


Unfortunately, I installed Apache 2.0.63 and run it with PHP 5.2.9-2 and it's still staying orange

anything in the error logs?

not since changing the apache version that I can tell.. switching around between versions I get this:

which I assume is normal.
Maybe I'll try some slightly older versions of php/apache..

maybe get teamviewer and ill take a look

It seems to work with Apache 2.0.58 and PHP 5.2.9, so that's good for now.

Hmm maybe not.. it was working. not it isn't. trying to figure out what could have changed.
And just got this error :Could not execute menu item (internal error) [EListError] List index out of bounds(1) when trying to switch between versions

Also
Could not execute menu item (internal error): [EAccessViolation at address 004F1AE0 in module 'wampmanager.exe'. Read of address 0057CD18

Now it's not even working with the default versions of apache and php

oh no...


did you install my version?

i dont suggest you do anything else.. or you will end up needing to resinstall..


grab teamviewer and ill troubleshoot it..
