Can't access localhost

Hi forum

I use my wamp server as workbench for the websites i make. I'm currently working on a new website for my company. But recently my wamp server just stopped working. I worked long and hard, so i don't want to give it up!

So hope someone can help - here goes som info:

PC: Win7 64bit.

WAMP: WampServer Version 2.2.

Tray icon: Orange - online.

Apache port 80 test: Your port 80 is not actually used.

I'm ready for whatever fix you've got!!!

Everything was fine - except it denied me access - 403 forbidden. But i went to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and deleted the line with ::1 localhost - and now everything work like a charm!

But I'm wondering if that's the right way to do it - or if this is a bad workaround?

no you are correct, ipv6 is probably not enabled on your pc
