localhost not working

What colour is your WAMP icon in the system tray?
If its not GREEN then Apache is not running.
Do a Wamp -> Apache -> Service -> Test Port 80
to see if something else on your machine is using port 80.

I did the Test port 80.
it says that:-
"Your port is actually used by Server: Microsoft -HTTPAPI/2.0
Press Enter to Exit....."
I tried to locate the service using Sys Tools, Task Manager/Processes as well ProcMon. But didnt help.
Please Help.

You cannot run 2 web servers on the same machine as they both want to use port 80 to communicate with the client browser by default.
If you are not using IIS I suggest you uninstall it.
