Hello.

First of all i'd like to thank the developers and the comunity behind wampserver for this wonderfull easy to use solution for us noobs in the business.

My questions are:

I have an old machine (pentium d 2.8GHz, 2GB ram and sata 2 7200rpm hdd) with windows server 2003 and individual installs of apache, php and mysql... all in 32bit.

And in this new machine (Xeon E31240 3.3GHz, 8GB ram and 2 sas 15000rpm hdd in raid 1) i have windows server 2008 r2 and wampserver 2.2a with apache 2.2.21, php 5.3.8 and 3 versions of mysql 5.0.88, 5.1.41 and 5.5.16. The OS is 64bit and i downloaded and installed WampServer2.2a-p1-x64.exe.

I exported a database from the old server and am trying to use it in the new server.
The problem is performance.

In the old machine the exact same query will take aboute 1.3seconds and in this new machine it started by taking about 60seconds and more and after a few tweeking it's now taking between 3 and 4 seconds.

Whas more information can I give for someone to help me.

Thanks in advanced,

MAB
