how to tell installed version?

Hi
Can you tell me how to identify which version I have installed ?
about says : 2.0
configs say : 2.0
windows uninstaller says 2.2 (no idea if this is A,B,C,D or E)
Also in your change logs can you please add the change date to the information.
This would help work out when a new version is available.
