Download version names very confusing

Hi guys,
are the names for the download files correct?

They are marked as 32-bit and 64-bit without stating if they are x64 or x86.

After installing the 64-bit version on my 64-bit x86, being not able to run cURL and trying to fix it, I've found the cURL dll is trying to use a AMD64 dependency and the Apache version is marked as x64, which clearly looks like a x64 version. The 32-bit version is running with no problems.

Shouldn't the versions be named described as x86 32-bit and x64 64-bit to prevent the confusion?

I think it is implied that 64bit is x64 and 32bit is x86
There is just the two processors that happened as extensions of the x86 to add 64bit support

I honestly think this was a bad move by the AMD and INTEL.

But technically you are correct - the 64bit version is x64 and not x86.

It will run fine but it's some of the extensions such as LDAP and CURL that are complied is vc9 with x64 selected in MS
VC9

I will pass it on to see if we can add the (x64) to clear up the confusion
