WampServer

I installed Wampserver 2.5 for 64bit on Win 8.1, it opens without problems, the icon is green, I can open my site, browse though the pages. My problem is that I can not login in my site as the site admin. It says that username or password is incorrect. But it isn't. I reinstalled drupal and my site 2-3 times but everytime the same happens. I can login with a test account I have made that has not admin rights.
Any idea what is wrong?

MySQL is 5.6.17
Apache is 2.4.9
PHP is 5.5.12

I would say the most likely issue is a DocumentRoot issue.

Start by creating a Virtual Host and then install Drupal into that, its what I do and have never had an issue.
