Localhost + phpmyadmin not coming up

i just deleted xampp and installed wamp. Its online but when i goto localhost nothing comes up and if i go to phpmyadmin it gives me errors. ALso whats the mysql password?

there isnt a password. uninstall xammp properly

on wamp if i start the sql command line it asks for a password?

is the wamp icon green?

if not... something , probably xammp is not uninstalled properly

Me too i'm stuck in the same problem sisnce more than a week.

1- server online

2- green status

3- port 80 tested is ok

4- Hosts file : 127.0.0.1 localhost

5- 127.0.0.1 didn't work

please help
