Problem with DBs

Hello I'm new to DBs and I'm hosting a server for a game called Minecraft.
In our server we have a plugin that records every action of a player and puts them in a DB.
I've set up everything that I need via help of tutorials and etc. but I don't see anything changing in the DB
It upgrades when ever some one joins the server but all it does is adding a line for the player that is completely empty and useless because I can't get access to what i need.
I do use skype but the port for apache is set to 8080 so it runs normal but i can't seem to get this thing working.
