WampServer

OK, so I have been working with WAMP 2.4 64 bit and I am quite happy with it. However no matter what I try, I cannot make it accessible to people outside of my Wi-Fi/Network.

I have already changed the Servername and the onlineoffline tag and it is green and online. And I am using Windows 7 64 bit

Apache 2.4.4
MySQL 5.6.12
PHP 5.4.16

Have you port forwarded your router?

I can't find any reason it is not accessible outside my network

You are not giving much information so it is almost impossible to troubleshoot.

I have changed the onlineoffline tag and changed the servername to my private ip.
Are there any details you want in particular?

Well they are right, I get a timeout when attempting to access that ip. By the way you might want to remove that from the previous post so you dont get lots of people hitting it.

May we could try a TeamViewer session and I will troubleshoot this issue for you. If you like that idea:


Install TV, then run it.

Send me a Private Message containing the TV ID and PASSWORD so I can connect.
Leave TV running as it will change the password each time you restart it.

I am on UK time (GMT+1) and am normally available 09:00 - 16:00 and normally later into the evening.

Lets arrange a time that is mutually acceptable.
