Existing MySQL and IIS... want to install WAMP 2008 Server

I set up MySQL and PHP via Windows 2008 IIS Web Platform Installer. The PHP-based app we are using is running like a dog under IIS and would like to switch this over the Apache. We have a whole bunch of stuff wired into the existing MySQL database setup, so would prefer to leave that intact.

I'm thinking of disabling IIS. Is there a good way to install WAMP and preserve already set up MySQL? or should I just install Apache, and the installed versions of PHP and MySQL will just work there?

If you want I can do that for you using Teamviewer

It's a little bit messy so I don't feel comfortable explaining it in case you lose your data
