WampServer

I had 2.2c installed after installing the php 5.2 addon and reactivated Wamp, went to localhost and got this error

Could not execute menu item (internal error) [Exception] Could not preform service action: The Service has not been started.

Icon would not turn Green
Tried start resume service and nothing happened

I had to reinstall. I do need an older php installed when using on Script due to the script need an older php at lease 5.2.
I reinstalled and upgraded to 2.2d (Latest) and would like to reinstall the plugin but don't want the error again.

Does anyone know how to fix and
the steps to install a plug in.
Tell me where I went wrong or how not to get that error again.

install an apache addon with it.

the compoents with wamp2.2 are vc9 and all the addons are vc6

these must match

I understand now the addons are not for the current release where can I find the current release php Addons?

I'm not sure what install an apache addon with it was referring to was that to fix it and have the vc6 addon work by installing an old appache? I'm confused sorry

There is no addons built in vc9 for wamp2.2

So if you want to use php5.2 which is vc6 you will also need to change the apache version to vc6 so just download the latest apache Addon as the apache version you have is vc9
