Hi All,

I am trying to use the php mail function in my web application. I want to connect to Microsoft Outlook.But, I am unable to connect to the smtp server of my domain...Please note that I have made all the required changes in php.ini.

But I am getting the following error
"Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Failed to connect to mailserver at "smtp.steria.com" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in C:\wamp\www\checkmail.php on line 74"

Please can we start by you answering these questions READ BEFORE YOU ASK A QUESTION

Then can you post the changes that you made to your php.ini file for the SMTP server.

Also can you show your HOSTS file (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts), as this will also require an entry for the mail server like so :-
