Hello,

I would like to report Win8 Consumer Preview issue, WAMP is showing up with a red icon.

I have added wamp to Windows Firewall and I cannot find ISS Services in CC->Administrative Tools->Services

I can't figure out what in the world. I figured I'd report this. Let me know if anyone figures it out, likewise.

Windows 8 is extremely buggy.

But u should be checking what's using port 80 and 3306

And check that u have the ability to start services

I have uninstalled Skype (for unknown reasons it has bad memory leak on Windows 8 Consumer Preview) and I still get the red icon.

However this is interesting; I can run WampServer 2.2D 32-bit on Windows 8 Consumer Preview 64-bit.

I am not sure if I'm missing out on much, but I will tr this out for now. I just have a few projects to bang through. (ugh, yay, reconfiguring mysql lol)

I will post a response if I run into any more issues.
