cannot create a new database

Hi all,

platform: windows 7 64bit
wampserver version: 2.2c

wamp seems to work fine but I cannot create a new database for wordpress installation. I have uninstalled and installed serverally....

I also noticed a new testmysql.php file in the www directory


Please help...

Are you getting any error message creating DB.

Are you trying to create mysql DB from console or phpmyadmin?

it just does not respond when I click the create button after entering my details.
