i need some help when i tried to start wamp server after i downloaded runtime and that c++ thing when i clicked wamp server i got a error i have windows 7 starter

Make sure no other program conflict Wamp such as IIS, SQL, Skype, Zonealarm, firewall/antivirus, NOD32, Eset, any web related program including Remote Desktop, Teamviewer ...

IIS and Apache/Wamp are both web server and might conflict in some way, so you have to disable IIS in order for Wamp to work

Disable IIS in Vista/W7:

Control Panel, Uninstall Programs, Turn Widows Features On or Off, uncheck Internet Information Services

Disable IIS in XP:

Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Windows Components, uncheck Internet Information Services (IIS)

Restart computer, then restart Wamp

Also, in folder C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc, open file hosts and delete anything in this file and have only this line below and nothing else

127.0.0.1 localhost

If using Skype, open Skype > Tools > Options > Advanced > Connection then uncheck "use port 80..." restart Wamp then Skype

wamp server could not execute menu item (internal error) [exeption], could not perform service action service has not started .

still wont work and when i tried disabling iis i could only fill the box

click it again ....duh

Hi!

I have a related problem on my Windows XP Service Pack 3 computer. I installed the operating system few days ago and then installed WAMP Server v2.2, 32-bit almost directly after the installation of the operating system. This is the error message I get:

"Aestan Tray Menu encoutered a problem and needs to close."

I have tested 2 other solutions as well - EditPHP and XAMPP. These 2 web servers complaining on Apache and won't start the service for it. I have reinstalled WAMP several times and I have even runned CCleaner all the times to ensure that everything is gone after the installation - same errors all the times.

Someone here who can help me with this (huge) problem?

Hi all,
I installed Oracle 9i and wamp server in my local machine but wampserver was not working .Then I Stopped HTTP Server . Open wampserver->Apache->httpd.conf then open the file then change "Listen 80" to " "Listen 8080" and "Listen 12.34.56.78:80" to "Listen 12.34.56.78:8080" . Restart WampServer and start as "[localhost] and "[localhost]; but Now it is not working.
can any body ,very urgent.

I have just install Windows - Clear Windows - Dont install anything (IIS, disable Firewall, dont have any anti-virus .....) - Just only Windows ...

Somebody help me !!!
