Customizing apc settings in wamp - how?

I want to customize php_apc that is included with wamp. However, when I add settings to the php.ini file, they are not reflected in phpinfo(), even when I restart the server.

example:
apc.shm_size = 16

does not set the appropriate config to 16.

maybe your editing the wrong php.ini

its in apache>bin


to make sure your editing the right php.ini always use the wamp menu

left click wamp> php> php.ini
