Hi!
I'm new to wamp. I'm not a programmer and I am just starting to learn all about it.
I came across this tool when I was researching on how to build a personal project website on wordpress.
I'm using a windows 7, 64-bit.
Originally I followed some you tube videos on how to install wordpress on localhost using wamp. But I had problems when clicking on my projects link from the admin panel of wamp didn't work. I read many tutorials but it didn't work at then.

So I decided to uninstall wamp and clean all data to start over again.

questions:
1. Can I install wamp on my partition D? My C is limited and I don't want to install more things on it.
2. Is there a dummy step by step tutorial to install wamp 2.5 and organize everything for my wordpress project?

Many thanks in advance for your help!
Greetings from Colombia!

Yes you can install WAMPServer onto any drive so D:\wamp is just fine.

Its best to create a virtual host to install a WP site into. see this doc [forum.wampserver.com]

Read The Manuals Apache -- MySQL -- PHP -- phpMyAdmin
Get your Apache/MySQL/mariaDB/PHP ADDONs here from the WAMPServer alternate Repo
