Hello guys.
Im new to wamp and also not very experienced on web/php/sql

I wanted to setup wamp as test server for dreamweaver so I can find why my php givin error when I upload to actual server.
I installed latest 64bit wamp to location c:\wamp . Win7 OS and dreamweaver CS6

I set localhost as test server in sitemanager inside CS6 for my domain.
servername:localhost
conection:local/network
serverfolder: c:\wamp\www\sunset\
weburl: [127.0.0.1]

When I tried to test website dreamweaver asked to synchronize and copied all website to under wamp\www\sunset folder

wamp icon green and all services looks running.
When I tried to test main index page page in dreamweaver it tries to open under [127.0.0.1] and I receive internal server error.

If I go 127.0.0.1 wamp page opens , I see sunset
under "your projects" section and when I click it tries to open [sunset] and I receive connection error.

im not sure what I m doing. seems still problem with apache side to access to folder . I appreciate any help if have any experience with dreamweaver test server

I googled "dreamweaver wampserver" and got lots of help. That is your best option.

Hi Hatami,

Yes this is normal. The windows 8 to 8.1 upgrade is fairly major and it removes the Apache and MySQL services that WAMPServer installs.

Its easy to fix, do this :-

Start WAMPServer, then using the wampmanager icon menus do ....

left click wampmanager -> Apache -> Install Service
left click wampmanager -> MySQL -> Install Service

Then start the services

left click wampmanager -> Start all Services
