Hi There,

I have a weird problem. I'm running wamp 2.2 on my windows vista machine. Everything works ok. I use phpDesigner to edit code.

Now from phpDesigner, if i create a file called header.php and place it in the root. I can't see it from the web browser localhost/php_files/header.php

i can see every other file created like test.php or whatever.php
localhost/php_files/test.php
localhost/php_files/whatever.php

I can see those files using a browser, navigating to the wamp home page and the clicking php_files and the directory lists all of the files except header.php

if i navigate the folders in windows and go to root, i can see the file there. Only not showing on a web browser. I have no idea what the problem is. Anyone has faced anything as weird as this?

Any help is greatly appreaciated smiling smiley

Thanks

sounds like a stupid silly error that you are not seeing smiling smiley

no one can help you with this...

create a new file that you can see. copy the contents of the header into it.. rename it header.

its not possible that one file is not showing up but every other file is.

Make a file. CONFIRM it is showing up.

Copy the contents of header.php into it. CONFIRM it is showing up.

Rename is to header.php. CONFIRM it is showing up.
