Programming Begginer

I am graphic & web designer, i have the desire to learn also programming, but my problem is that which programming language should i start with?
please i need ideas from any one or a programmer. tanx

For web developing, you want to learn HTML/CSS then JavaScript(don't get this confused with Java). After you got those down, you'll want to learn the server side programmer which is PHP and MySQL
