WampServer

hello forum
i have used a wamp server before a year. after a long period when i installed on my system. when i try to put my wamp server online. this dialog box appears.

"Could not execute menu item (internal error) [Exception] Could not perform service action: The service has not been started."

after readings many forums. i uninstalled skype and other anitivirus. still i can't access that. please help me.

Try all of the following as a basic 'trial & error' process:

1) Delete Skype and Windows Live Messenger
2) Make sure your clock time is correct
3) Delete/disable your firewall, internet security and anti-virus
4) Update web-browsers
5) Try re-installing Wamp-Server

Then reboot PC and try to go online again...

OR

1) Obtain and install Virtual PC
2) Install Windows XP or Windows Web Server (Free Trial) in Virtual PC
***I think Windows XP can only handle 10 simutanious connections as part of a limitation
3) Install a better web-browser i.e. google chrome
4) Install Wamp-Server before installing ANY other software

That should work, and your Virtual PC will have it's own local IP address, you can port-forward your external IP address to your virtual PC using your router, or you can simply connect to your local IP from other computers using the same router/network.

I am no expert, so this is a very basic solution. Other people who have specific ideas, please post here also.

thank you so much bro. i got wamp server running only when i change my host file in sytem32.
But i have now a new problem.

this is my new edited hostfile

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

as

127.0.0.1 localhost127.0.0.1 localhost

but my old cracked file is
127.0.0.1 adobe blah blah.

this crack is for registering licence for adobe products. if i removed this datas means. my adobe products won't work. what should i do now?

I went to Skype Advanced setting and unchecked the "User port 80 and 443 as alternative incoming connection..", existed skype and wamp and restarted both. It worked.
