Hi all.. I am setting up a fresh install for testing.. This is a brand new W2k3 server with only the windows update applied. I have installed the latest WAMPServer.. Apache will not start.. Looking into this further, I came across this article, [www.codeguru.com], where it mentions installing the VC++ redistributable package.

Since WAMPServer is created using VC9, I installed the VC++ 2008 package and now it works perfectly..

Note to authors of WAMPServer, please add this package to your install or at least make it a requirement for the install..

Regards,
Rob
