WampServer

Hi there,

I have got a brand new laptop running Windows 7, did a brand new install of wamp, started all services, put server online and still get: #1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'.
To answer all the questions that will come :-):
- No, I did not change anything (yet), so no password and original installation
- I checked if services were started
- I put Wamp online
- The laptop still is pretty clean, so no other local servers are running
- Everything else works, localhost is reachable by PhP, root folder can be opened
- Any help is appreciated, nothing will be lost, because no sites are installed yet

I am out of Ideas. Anyone there who can help me and clear this out?

I'm sure you know yourself if all those answers ate correct it should be working- so something u have missed .
