Increasing the RAM memory on Apache

Hi there

I have a dedicated server with 16 GB of RAM, a production website (MOODLE LMS) running on this machine.

The page are loading very slow and I want to increase the default memory settings of Apcahe.

Can some one tell me what I really need to do? TIA.

Configuration details:

OS: Windows 2008 Server R2 SP1

CPU: QUAD 3.10 GHZ Intel Xeon(R)E31220

RAM: 16350 MB
