WampServer

Hi,

I am looking for a reasonably basic server to host some pages online.
What I wanted to know was. Is the Wamp server configured in a secure state at the time of first install (out of the box)?
Or is this software more aimed at local testing than serving pages on the net?

It is intended to be a developer tool and not a live server.

It can be a live server but you really have to know what you are doing with Apache and Windows to setup and run Apache on a Windows machine in a secure way

Probably you should look at IIS
