WampServer

I have installed WampServer and selected LAUNCH WHEN FINISHED, and nothing launches. If I try to launch START WAMPSERVER from the Windows Start menu, I momentarily get the spinning wheel as if it will launch but then nothing.

System information:
• Windows version is 8.1
• Does not matter if I use 32 or 64 bit makes no difference. I have tried them both.
• Version WampServer is 2.5 (Again, trying both versions 32 or 64 bit)
• Apache Version: 2.4.9
• PHP Version:5.5.12
• MySQL Version: 5.6.17
• Having the problem of not starting, the icon color is never observed (color of the WampServer icon (in the notification area of the taskbar))

Look in the System Tray expansion box. Its in there. Drag it out onto the permanant system tray.

I have this part now but getting an error:

Alert window stating,

"Could not execute menu item (internal error) [Exception]
Could not perform service action: The service has not been started". What do I do now?
1) (I also have re-started the DNS client settings in the Services (local)
2) selected the icon and started all service, re-started services, and tried to select "Put Online"
