Internet connection disabled

Hello every body,
When ever i am trying to install wampserver on my system internet connection is disabling. I cannot access internet from my system.
Even after uninstalling wampserver i am getting the same problem(cannot able to access internet). Ping is showing that the internet connection is sending data.
I am using XP SP3.
I am new to wamp and just trying to learn PHP. Please help me in configuring my system correctly.
