hello to you all... first of all, i'm newbie on networking issues but as a result of computer curiosity, the mission has been loaded into me by my groupies.
anyway

I have installed wamp in order to install tao testing which is open source testing framework [www.taotesting.com]

I have completed the configuration. finally taotesting works

but

localhosyt not working. although wamp is active and the icon is green, localhost not working

also

i dont have any idea how can reach the testing environment by my ip adress. because in the adress bar of chrome it shows as [taoplatform]

Check in: %/windows/system32/drivers/etc the file host

If there no entry for localhost, you must add them manually, if there is an Hash (#) in front of the localhost, you must remove the Hash!

In your router or modem DHCP must be enabled and the ports 80 (Apache) and 3306 (MySQL) must be forwarded to the 'Server" IP. If you use an local computer, you must assign an fixed IP to that computer and forward the needed Ports 80 and 3306 to that IP. If the server run on an public and static IP the Ports need to be forwarded to that IP.
