SUGGESTION: select browser

Add a way to select what browser is launched with the various services, rather than just using the system's default browser.

Actually,my default browser is now Chrome, but for some reason WAMPServer launches FireFox.

Simply add a menu item named "Browser ->" to the system tray popup, and have "Add New". It would open a File Open dialog and let you search for the EXE file.

Or if there's a list of them in the Registry, just add the list.

Thanks

It's not simply a "custom menu".

When you click any of the menu items that open the browser, they need to go through the browser you've selected. That takes logic.

Right now, Chrome is my system's default browser. But for some unknown reason, the links in WAMPServer open Firefox. I imagine that's how it's programmed.

It would be nice to be able to select the browser that will be used.

you selected firefox when you installed wamp...

if you need to change it , open c:\wamp\wampmanager.conf

find

Browser = x:\x\x\x.exe

and change to the path of chrome.

save and right click the wamp icon > refresh

I will conside adding the option you suggested on the menu of unofficial wampserver.

I installed WAMP so long ago I don't remember setting it.

Thanks for clarifying this.

It would be great to have the possibility of changing the browser selection via the menus.
