Clicking on Icon does nothing

I have a Windows Server 2008. I installed the most current version (2.0i) of WampServer. I connect to the server via Remote Desktop. When I double click on the WampServer icon (wampManager.exe), nothing seems to happen. I don't know if there is something there that RDP is not letting me see or if there is another issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

RDP conflict wamp so your wamp does not work so you have to disable RDP

Thanks for the reply. I don't know how to control the computer without RDP, so I guess I can't use wamp.

Thanks again.

To avoid conflict, you can change port in wamp but you have to include that port in all url's, for example, localhost:8080

To change port, open file httpd.conf and find:
listen 80

Change to:
listen 8080

Port 80 is not the problem. RDP uses 3389.

I have used Apache on windows for many years. This is not a port conflict with the web server. The WampServer menu does not appear. I suspect it is there, but that I cannot see it via RDP.
