php my admin won't work with the 64bit version

I am running win7 Home premium and have installed the unofficial wampserver 64 bit version. Localhost works fine but phpmyadmin just gives me a blank page. My hosts file has the 127.0.0.1 local-host and nothing else other than adobe activate. I have disabled IIS. Any ideas?

i t has

127.0.0.1 local-host????

this is wrong

it should have

127.0.0.1 localhost

make sure it does NOT have

::1 localhost

and make sure the wamp icon is white.

yes it does have localhost it is the spell checker on here that put the hyphen in. The icon is white, but on my 32 bit machine the 32bit version won't let phpmy admin work either.. local host works fine.

Ok I have now tried the older versions of wamp and the same problem exists. I have used IE and firefox and the same occurs. Is it anything to do with the adobe practivate lines in my hosts file?
