WampServer

I followed the steps on this [forum.wampserver.com]

Set up my virtual host (even used the same folder name project1) and the wampserver icon is back to green.

And I ran the test below

I got the Syntax OK. However I get the 403 Forbidden error when I try to access localhost and project1. I have no issues accessing localhost/phpmyadmin.

Did I missed anything?

You have to remove the example code from the httpd-vhost.conf file.

I can access localhost/phpmyadmin ok. But I still get 403 for localhost and project1

hi, i have the same question yestoday.now i modify httpd-vhost.conf,and solve this questiong.
I found when add <Directory ...> .. </Directory> into <VirtualHost *:80> ... </VirtualHost> and restart apache,
it will work ok.

Hi, I saw your post too. Thanks for responding but I'm sorry I don't understand your solution. Can you elaborate please? What did you change in the httpd-vhost.conf file?

It works now. It turns out there was a colon missing from DocumentRoot.

Hi, I did all yo said here to create a virtual host, but when i go to my project url, example ejemplo.pv, at the end of the pat appears "\" like this ejemplo.pv\ and i can't see the index.php because the \ appears automatically. How can I fix it?
