Wamp install on W7 32bit - Compilation error

I get the following error message when starting the wamp server on Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

PHP Startup:bz2: Unable to initialize module
Module compiled with build ID=API20090626,NTS,VC6
PHP compiled with build ID=API20090626,TS,VC6
These opeions need to match

You should setup Backup so you can restore back to working state

I downloaded version 20i from the link you provided and installed it. Result is the same compilation error. Any other suggestions?

thats not the issue

bz2 isnt enabled by default...


so either you enabled it on the wamp menu( if so disable it - left click wamp>php>extentions>bz2_modules)

or there is another php.ini in your system


search for php.ini and and delete any that are not in c:/wamp directory or subdirs
