#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

Hello all, complete newbie here. While learning more about the PHPmyadmin, I was tinkering around in the privileges section of PHPmyadmin. Long story short, I literally deleted ALL users. Yes, I know. Yes, I'm not too bright sometimes.

Anyway, when I went to correct my mistake in localhost/phpmyadmin I get this nice message:

#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

I've read many other topics/webpages on it, with nothing solving it. Any help is appreciated.
