WampServer

When i try to access localhost/phpmyadmin it takes me to an error page that says the following:

MySQL said:

#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

Connection for controluser as defined in your configuration failed.
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

Could someone tell me how to get over this issue, i'd be very grateful!!

did u add a password to mysql?

if so - also add it to

c:/wamp/apps/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php


clear the browser history

then in the browser on the error page press - open in new window
