Can't Download WAMP2.0

Downloading WAMP2.0 doesn't work. It downloads a file called "download" with no file extension, and you can't run it. Help please!

I've downloaded WAMPServer 2.0 from your site but it's still not working. It won't go online. When I click "Put Online" it gives me a message "Could not execute menu item (internal error)...". When I click either "Local Host" or "phpMyAdmin" it gives me a "Page not found" page. What should I do? Thanks, Jason Prince

What is color of your Wamp tray icon?

Make sure no other program conflict Wamp such as IIS, Skype, Zonealarm, firewall/antivirus, NOD32, Eset, any web related program ...

IIS and Apache/Wamp are both web server and might conflict in some way, so you have to disable IIS in order for Wamp to work

Disable IIS in Vista/W7:

Control Panel, Uninstall Programs, Turn Widows Features On or Off, uncheck Internet Information Services

Disable IIS in XP:

Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Windows Components, uncheck Internet Information Services (IIS)

Restart computer, then restart Wamp

Also, in folder C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc, open file hosts and delete anything in this file and have only this line below and nothing else

127.0.0.1 localhost

If using Skype, open Skype > Tools > Options > Advanced > Connection then uncheck "use port 80..." restart Wamp then Skype

That works fine. Thanks so much. But now, where is my document root folder? I don't have a C:\wamp folder. Thanks, Jason Prince

by default it should be c:/wamp/www unless you changed install path when installing
