WampServer

Hi,
I have WinXP and Wamp running but often the when I load pages or execute tiny queries / just click the edit button in phpmyadmin etc. the server nearly times out.

Any idea? I have executed some query I found on internet netsh/add v6tov4 via Windows command line ..it worked wow for 2secs but often it still is slow.

No other memory consuming progs open, CPU load is also not an issue according to procexp or task mgr.

I have the same problem. I could not load any pages of localhost in the way icepick said.

sound like your firewall/antivirus interfere w/ wamp processes and cause slow flow or even hang pc
