I'm having a problem, I've been searching also but I have no idea what I am searching for to be honest...

When I use the date code date("F j, Y, g:i a"winking smiley; in a file on my server using WAMP, it display's tomorrow's date and time instead of the current.

I assume there is something I'm supposed to modify, but I have no idea what or where. Can someone please give me a little help with this?

Thanks!

What I mean by this is when I put in the date code it will show Friday, July 30 instead of Thursday, July 29.

In php.ini I set date.timezone = America/Detroit

This now displays my correct time, but the date is still 1 day ahead. Is there a setting that fixes the date?
