hi,
I have just imported my MYSQL database to my wamp admin but it requires a password to use.

this is the error message:
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'chrisp_ccn'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in C:\wamp\www\newsite\clubevents.php on line 99

Could not connect: Access denied for user 'chrisp_ccn'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I have no idea how to set my MYSQL password to fix this problem any help would be much appreciated it also says on my PHPMYADMIN:

Your configuration file contains settings (root with no password) that correspond to the default MySQL privileged account. Your MySQL server is running with this default, is open to intrusion, and you really should fix this security hole by setting a password for user '.root'.

Basically i have reinstalled WAMP server. I have not configured the MYSQL as i am unsure how to do this

actually, you have to setup db acct for that script, not just db
