WampServer

I've downloaded WampServer2 but when I click on the icon to install it, all I get is an error message.

The message says: "Unable to execute file in the temporary directory. Set up aborted."

Then it says: "Error 5: Access is denied."


I'm using Windows 7, 64 bit.

Btw, a few days ago I successfully installed WampServer2. I uninstalled it earlier today because of a complication that seemed to arise from some tidying up I was doing on my hard drive.

At the moment, since I can't even install Wamp, I'm completely blocked from all progress.

Can anyone help?

Well, the old tried-and-true from the early days of the Web seems to have done the trick. I shut down and re-booted and voila! -- all of a sudden it was possible to install WampServer. It looks like I might be back in business. :-)
