blank page

hi,
I just download and install but when I type "localhost" then just blank page show up.
I am using firefox. windows 7
what should I do?
help me please~~!!!

Did you start all the processes ?

Copy a light html page for example "hello world" into the folder www

I m VERY beginner of all.
waht did is that I download "DOWNLOAD WampServer 2.0i" --> run it --> came back to your site -> type on address bar "localhost".... but then just blank. I suppose there should be " web homp page" open.. isn't it????
please help me (T.T)

i am trying to learn Joomla and they said I need to have PHP,MY SQL,SERVER.... that's why I am trying to do this.

You have to start the wampserver too.. in the right bottom corner, there is a wampserver icon. Left click and

choose "start all services" and if you want it to get online: left click and choose "put online"

thank you but that I did long ago but didn't work. winking smiley))
but one person gave me a solution and it worked : "Skype" is the problem.
I turned off Skype when I start Wamp then it works perfectly. after I can run Skype.
