#1045 - Access denied

Hi,
i've changed the mysql password via console, since this time i'm not able to login phpMyAdmin. The message which appears is:
MySQL said:

#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

I tried to reinstall wampserver (new version) but it dosn't help. I'm still able to access mysql via console but not via phpMyAdmin.

How is it possible to fix it? Reset the password?
Any help will be appreciated.

I have a similar problem. I can't access MySql Console, and neither PhpMyAdmin. I get the message
#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

I tried to cange the line on config.inc.php and set a password but it didn't work.
I installed and unistalled it more than once.
Now i have installed Wamp5, Apache Version : 2.2.8 , PHP Version : 5.2.6 , MySQL Version : 5.0.51b

I don't know what else can i do.
Any idea?

Did you try my suggestion? First, reset mysql, then follow my guide to setup password

What do you mean with reset sql? I can't do anything, I can't access the Sql console, and I can't access PhpMyAdmin.
I saw your guide, but i have no access to do it.

I have fowling your instructions, but nothing have changed. I have got the same answere.

I have used wapserver over 6 month but after a pc-crash i must installed wap again.

Sorry, sorry: after restart my pc the wamp server started correctly.

I have had insufficiently tolerance for my pc .
