WampServer

Hello!

I got Vista64.

I install wampserver, and made local host. I almost finished my site yesterday. Today I can put on-line vamp server. I get massage

Could not execute menu item (internal error)[Exception] Could perform service action. The service has not been started.


I don`t want to resolve problem on my own, because I invest a lot of work on my site yesterday!

Now wamp serveris torn on, but icon is yellow, and local host is not working!

Can close this post. I find a problem.

Problem was in apache. It can connect to port 80.

Skype use port 80. Before launch WampServer need to shut down Skype. After starting Wamp Server, can turn Skype on.

I found this error on Apacche error log.
It say`s

[Tue Apr 20 15:23:41 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Deprecated: Function ereg() is deprecated in C:\\wamp\\www\\propertymanager\\includes\\file.inc on line 911, referer: [localhost]

if using skype, open skype > tools>options>advanced>connection uncheck "use port 80..." restart wamp then skype

I have the same problem. I don not have Skype installed and I checked my firewall's ports list and there is no application running on port 80, including Wamp.

then you need to add exception for wamp in all firewall/antivirus

Hello i am like crazy now, im doing a very urgent work with joomla ...Yesterday i installed wampserver and i worked very well whith localhost, i was so so happy until before to sleep but today when i wanted into localhost a message saying page no found ; i tryed and tryed but the same thing.
I use xp, google crome and internet explorer
I uninstalled skype and try , firewall is unistalled, i tryed whith no active the antivirus and try and nothing
I need some body help me and if can to write in spanish will be so fine for me.

another thing
i fixed almost the trouble; i did some steps that i read in the forum (unistall frewall, desactive antivirus, unistall wamp, to remove wamp folder, restart my pc install firewall, ative anti virus install wamp and ok into localhost ) but after offed my computer and when to on it i cant to into localhost againg what i can do?????
PLease can somebody help me??????

temp disable will not help, but have to completely uninstall both wamp and firewall/antivirus, remove wamp folder, restart pc, reinstall firewall/antivirus AFTER and WHILE wamp is running

Could this be a Vista x64 issue? It seems to be running fine on Vista 32bit but refuses to start on Vista Ultimate x64
