bug report in wamp

I installed latest version of wamp2.0 and using in window xp

in folder structure of wamp
c:\wamp\alias

I put a shortcut www folder inside alias folder and restart wamp services

then apache could not be start ..

why a shortcut makes a problem to run apache ?

Its not a BUG

The alias folder gets loaded when apache starts.. You cant out a shortcut there. And there is no reason why you would ever need to do this. so delete the shortcut
